Sinus/Head and Neck Detox

Therapeutic cleansing of the head and neck region which purges excess mucus and ama (toxins) from the sinus cavities and surrounding tissues. Nasya cleanses and opens the channels of the head, thereby increasing mental clarity by improving the natural flow of prana (life force). Benefits the following symptoms: Asthma, clouded thinking, depression, foggy mind, sinus congestion, chronic sinusitis, allergies, allergic rhinitis, chronic headache, various eye, and ear problems

Lower Back Therapy

An ancient Indian medical treatment using building a circular dam on localized areas of the body, which is continuously filled with heated medicated oils. The circulation of hot herbal oil in the dam allows for deeper penetration and relaxation of stiff muscles and scar tissue. The herbal oil serves to open channels and release deep-seated emotional and physical tension. Kati Basti (Lower Back Therapy):  Excellent for releasing lower back pain in the lumbar and thoracic regions. Benefits muscle spasms, rigidity of the lower spine and also strengthens bone and muscle tissue in the local area.

Local suction using cups mobilizes blood flow to the local region to promote healing. Skin is gently drawn upwards by creating a vacuum in a cup over the target area of the skin. Benefits: asthma, lung congestion pain, deep scar tissues in the muscles and connective tissue, muscle knots, and swelling.

Ancient Indian Ayurvedic Massage

Our specialty Ayurveda massage is a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating treatment with rice/oat grains, medicinal herbs and herbal oils wrapped in soft cloth boluses. Similar to hot stone massage, the warm stone-like boluses relieve muscular pain, naturally detoxifies tissues, and exfoliates the skin.

Warm herbal oil is massaged into the skin, enhancing circulation and deeply moisturizing the skin. Then, warm herbal boluses are massaged onto the skin to help open the pores and soothe skin and muscle tissue.  The therapeutic application of heat dilates blood vessels, bringing a fresh supply of oxygenated blood to the skin and muscles.  Warm heated boluses also help the rejuvenating healing properties of herbs and aromatic essential oils penetrate into the skin and muscles.
